From 1984 to 1989 she ministered to the elderly in Las Vegas and was instrumental in developing Pastoral Care Outreach at Sunrise Hospital. She was received into the novitiate on August 12, 1948 and given the name Sister Laura. Sr. Marcy Romine, 67, a sister for 47 years, died February 14, 2017 at her apartment in New Orleans, Louisiana. About Us - Sisters of Saint Francis of the Neumann Communities Sister Helen made profession of vows on August 12, 1947, and final profession on August 9, 1953. She made first profession of vows in 1956 and final vows in 1962. For almost 40 years, Sister Bernadette played background music once a month for televised Masses in the Madison Diocese as part of their Apostolate to the Handicapped.
